Tips: Its Easy to Start Building!

Check out the Camera Speed setting in the Settings Button to match the Control Speed to your iOS device. If you get lost in space, try the Camera Reset! If you make a mistake, just Tap the Un-Do Arrow!

Tap a Block Button to Select, or Tap again to view assign other Block to the Button. Tap the Play Screen to Set a Block. To move a Block, Tap to Select & Tap and Drag. Tap again to Rotate a Block; the last rotation Deletes the Block.

To Stack Blocks, Tap and Drag a Block onto another, the Block stacks over the other Block when they collide.

To Move, Cut, Copy or Paste Multiple Blocks: Select Finger Button in a Block Menu. Tap Blocks to Select. To move, Tap & Drag, then Tap on the empty screen to de-select. To Cut, Copy or Paste Selected Blocks, Tap the Settings Button and Tap Cut, Copy or Paste.

FCP* Tips:

Tap Eye Button to turn FCP on/off. Hold Device Forward Camera toward Face, then:

Hold Device about 18 Inches from Face,
Move Slowly in Good Lighting,
Hold Device in Portrait,

Vertical FCP Default is Off; Toggle on in Settings.

Move head to Rotate Build in 3D Space, to keep moving, stay in one direction, return to Stop, more to move back. When your face leaves the camera, FCP stops!

FCP is powerful and fun, so please give some time to get used to Virtual Object Movement!

Notes FCP Requires an iOS Device with a Forward Facing Camera.

Timber! simulates how a person might knock down their creations during play. If this feature is not for you or your family, please turn the Timber! Setting Off in Settings.

Pros and cons of Blocks! app for iPhone and iPad

Well done. Blocks are easy to place, rotate and stack. Undo is a great feature to have. Tons of colors and sizes of blocks to choose from. There are several slots to save you creations in, so when you let your friends play they can start fresh and you can come back to what you were working on later. The camera gets "turned around" sometimes, making scroll around a bit tricky at times. But overall, very nice app especially for a first version. Im hoping there will be regular updates, with more bits added over time. Id really like to see a bigger "sandbox" to play in, and the ability to stack lots higher than 6 bricks. Would be nice to be able to group pieces too, though that might be tricky. I own a few apps from this developer. All are a great value for the price with good updates on a regular basis.

great update. thanks for listening to my advice. Plese do something about the camera angle though. You guys have it set up so you drag the camera with 2 fingers. make it so you press bottons to change the angle. this would be MUCH easier. Thanks

I really like this app, but it would be better if there was a bigger building area and be able to build higher, and even more choices of building blocks. Other than that, the app works great.

Some bad moments

Its to hard to build in the game and it has to many options for the bricks which makes it harder to use

The black pieces are impossible to see, and you can not stack certain pieces together at all.

It is horrible! You cant see black blocks and lots of blocks dont stack. I would give this -5 stars if I could.

Unfortunately the app does not work and crash just after Ive launched. Tested on an iPhone 3GS and an iPad 2.

Its good, but I think it needs to update to the latest Lego pieces we have today. Now I know its hard, but if you can, it would be great to have the pieces I own on my iPod. But over all, thanks for making this.

I have a great time building with this App, but then I got the hang of using what they call Finger Gestures, and can move around what I build, like Im flying in space. Just just great!
